Buy the yellow table cloths, and then find a tractor at wal mart or somewhere cheap like that and use that for a center peice. I’m pretty sure I have seen john deere themed party plates and such.

There are several fun ideas for this type of birthday party. I have had one for my son and we all had a great time! I gave all of the kiddos a bandanna when they got there and they tied it on like little cowboys, then we had a small square bale of hay and some ropes that they used to rope it like a cow, We actually got out our tractor and had a little hayride with a wagon for everyone (including adults) to go on with us which everyone loved. We roasted hot dogs over a little bonfire in the backyard (you could also just use the grill), we also had potato chips, baked beans, and some salads to go with the hot dogs. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. For a centerpiece we used a pair of our sons cowboy boots when he was very small and kind of draped a bandanna and sort of layed a rope in with it and then set a cowboy hat right beside it. It was very cute! I guess a lot of it depends on how old your son is! For the cake that year, we took a chocolate chip cookie dough roll and spread it on a pizza pan and then used green icing to write on it and we used melted chocolate to make a little road and some of the white picket fence that comes in the little farm kits, then we bought a little tractor and put it on the road, we also used the small toy hay bales on it and it turned out super cute! Have fun, this was the easiest and one of the most fun parties we did!

You can get John Deere bandanas for as little as three for a dollar and put those on each place setting. Plus, when it’s done, you can make pillows out of the leftover bandanas by sewing two together. Oh, and there’s always a barnyard theme. There are tons of mobile petting zoos you could hire for an hour or two. Good luck!!!
