We had a home made cake and a giant cupcake/mini cake for her to eat by herself. But don't be surprise if they fall asleep during their birthday party. Both of mine did that. And I thought it was so mean for the guests to wake them up. And don't be surprise if your kid doesn't want to eat the birthday cake. I actually had to shove some cake on my daughters face because she refused to touch it.
