ideas for birthday party invitations?
our son is almost a year old...I need to get invitations made this weekend to hand out to some people by the beginning of the week...I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to things like this...
Anyway...its our son's first birthday and we are doing a john deere theme...is there anything specific that I need to put in the invitation (other than of course date, time, location)??
Would just having a picture of a john deere tractor and Its a birthday party or something like that on the front be good?
I just want to keep it simple (I've tried to find some invitations that would work but no such luck)...

not sure how that whole thing works, but its a 1 year old party. im sure no one is expecting over the top stuff. you are a busy person, just relax. location, time and day, and a number to contact you would be fine, and the picture of course.

For my oldest daughter we did ticket for one admission invitations. We had a home made cake and a giant cupcake/mini cake for her to eat by herself. But don’t be surprise if they fall asleep during their birthday party. Both of mine did that. And I thought it was so mean for the guests to wake them up. And don’t be surprise if your kid doesn’t want to eat the birthday cake. I actually had to shove some cake on my daughters face because she refused to touch it. Like I said she fell asleep at her party with music on and people talking loudly.
